I've been trawelling around looking for linux server side things to run and came across subspace. I've started a server on games1.iol.ie

Think multiplayer asteroids and you're on the right track.

u need to have the lastest client to connect

U may need to add the server manually its 193.120.123.136:5000 until such time as it gets added correctlty to the directories.
