View Full Version : Anyone interested in a new game of civ4 pbem ?

I'm thinking of starting another game, with everything set to fast and starting in the mediveal age just so we can get moving quicker. So stick your name down if you're interested.

I'm thinking of going with the following settings:
Map: Archipelago -> I really like the way this worked in max's game (the best of games atm)
size: Standard
Climate: Standard -> Should we pick something else to make it interesting ?
Sea Level: low
Era: Medieval -> Get us off running
Speed: quick
Landmass type: Archipelago, but maybe snaky would be better.

Say 4 to 5 players.
Once we have the required number of players we can start.

on a side note, I'm going to retire out of teh fantasy game, so if anyone wants to jump in there in my place give me a shout and I'll give u the details)

I believe I'd be interested. Any chance of doing a warlords game? just got it...

I'm going on holiday for three weeks this tuesday though! Hopefully it'll take that long to find players ;D

oh and I think medieval start would be good as well... the first turns of news games really creep along when you've not got any units (or wars, teehee).

Maybe we could try a 2 v 2 game on team continents? Played one recently, was very good, locked alliance added new layer of fun...

Haven't bought warlords myself yet, only time I play civ is for the turns here. But if there's a few others who want to give it a go I'm sure I could get my hands on it.

im on eco atm in real life and not gunna get it yet.

Right time waits for no man.

We'll be starting the game tonight. At present the both the Greeks and the Japanese are taken. So if you're interested stick your name down (and the race you want, otherwise I'll assign it randomly).

I'm assuming justice, max and the MoustachioedDictator are in.

What people think of locked alliences ?
