A scout unit recently came upon land belonging to the weak leader Tokugawa. Our great leader Montezuma was insulted that his people could not freely walk across this land without declaring war!!! So be it, WAR it is. Our warrior units are now converging on this poor excuse for a city to destroy the Japanese civilisation.

Other leaders be warned, Montezuma’s people go where they please.

...oh so it wasn't a ploy? Heh. I dunno, I thought we'd accepted the cease fire last turn, but the last turn I got we were still at war so I reckoned you declared war again. :?

I sent another cease fire offer anyway...after taking out your scout unit... :) Communication breakdown!
